This year’s bazaar will be for the medical benefit of depressed communties in Bataan and victims of Ondoy, organized by the UP Pre-Medical Honor Society.

Major publicity and advertising are done with the help of our media partners - Lifestyle Network, Click the City, Chalk, Magic89.9 and Circuit. Flyers will be distrubuted to nearby villages, offices, schools and hospitals. (Greenmeadows, Acropolis, Corinthians, Valle Verde 1- 6, Greenhills, Eastwood, Blue Ridge, White Plains, and of course hospitals such as MEdical City, Makati MEd, Asian Hospital, St. Lukes - 3000 tickets to be released all over the metro). Tarpaulins will be set-up all over the metro - from quezon city to Ortigas Area.

This will increase foot traffic in the event because it is promoted directly to the bazaar shoppers. Online promotions are also currently being done.

We are one of the exhibitors of the DPS Grand Bazaar 2009 and all I can say is that it is one of the worst or if not, the worst bazaar we have ever joined so far. They said that the school had a population of 3,200 families, still not including the alumni and general public. But believe me, the number of buyers that came in during the first day was only a 100 or even LESS. They also said that it was the 40th anniversary of the school, but NO activities were held that day to attract parents/ families of the students to attend. Only the students who maybe had classes during the day were there. The door prizes, games, raffles and entertainment they were saying were all LIES. The worst part of it was that their security were not tight. A laptop and a bag from 2 different exhibitors were stolen in just one day. How PATHETIC is that?!?!? Another thing, we have just learned from a side vendor just outside the school that the yearly bazaar in that school was always a flop. Poor exhibitors. So please, to all future exhibitors, don’t be fooled by false advertisements from the organizers of this bazaar. You would not want to be a victim of this as well.

We joined the 40th anniversary of Diliman Preparatory school christmas bazaar. dec 12-13. The organizer is Rodman Communication. Super galing nila mg PR and they said there will be 3,000 students plus parents, alumni and public people coming to the bazaar so many of us believed them. Napuno nga ng bazaarista lhat ng space eh, but the worst thing is walang customer. We found out from the teachers of that school na dec 14 pa mgstart ang mga events sa aniversary ng school nila. But when Rodman Communication invites us to join the bazaar ang sabi nya (Arlyn Garcia-organizer head) dec12-13 dw ang event sa diliman school. Tapos un sinasabi nyang 3,000 students…well less than one hundred students lang ang ngpunta ksi nga dw wala nman event, ngkataon lang na ngpractice sila sa school kya nkitingin narin sila sa bazaar. And then when we were complaining to the organizer, ang sbi nya hindi dw nila hawak ang schedule ng event, so dpat sinabi nila un totoo nun ngiinivite palng sila ksi ang dami tlga nmin na naloko nila. Ito nga pla ang bazaar ni Niki Coseteng, and they don’t want to refund our money. 1,500 per table so 3,000 for 2 days. Wala ni isa sa mga bazaarista ang ngprofit lhat nalugi. I’ve been communicating with the marketing manager, miss rely pasicolan. So far she’s being stubborn with her answers. She doesn’t reply much to our questions all she keeps saying is that she doesn’t receive any multiply pm’s, text messages and missed calls. Is that even possible? First i asked her to refund us the money and i’ll give them back the earnings that we made in their event(which is only 150php). Rely also told me “Dumami ang mga taong pumunta nung second day, kumita kaming mga sellers na natira.” Can someone please tell me if this claim is true? Second she told not only me but the other exhibitors that we will be having a free slot in the PLDT bazaar this summer, so i asked her if she can give us any assurance that in this bazaar, we WILL have a FREE slot, and that there will be actual people coming to that event. She replied to us after 5 days, and to my surprise, her answers had the words “PAGKAKA-ALAM KO” and she said “ONCE I GAVE YOU THE INFOS I CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR PLDT BAZAAR SLOT ANYMORE, IT’S IN THEIR HANDS BECAUSE I’M OUT.” So with these 2 statements alone, clearly all us exhibitors that have been promised this have no 100% assurance. And she also added that the exhibitors that came to the bazaar on the SECOND DAY will be the ones who will receive a free slot, but she promised us a slot as well. Don’t you think that’s unfair? all exhibitors that participated PAID and all deserve the chance of a refund or at least a free slot in the PLDT bazaar (IF that really is true). In our case, we were the ones who lost not only what we paid for the rent, but also our valuables (my whole bag was stolen). They didn’t even think about the security of their participants, the guards were NO HELP at all. Strangers coming in and out of the school without leaving id’s at the entrance. Right now i don’t want to participate in their PLDT bazaar since i lost trust in their organizers, what i want is my refund of 3,000php.
