We all want to become rich quick instantly. Who else want to work hard to become rich anyway? In one of my previous articles, I wrote about ways on how to get rich fast. However, chances that these might actually happen to you are very slim to none.
Unfortunately, many of us are being made to believe about get rich quick schemes or businesses. These so-called ‘scams’ are disguised as opportunities presenting themselves for us to grab quickly before it ‘expires’. Without enough financial literacy education, these preys are bound to be victims of these get rich quick schemes sending their hard earned money to misery.
Most often than not, the targets of these get rick quick schemes are people who are known to have lots of money but without enough knowledge on business and investments. Having said that, Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) around the world are number one on the list.
Two of the most used get rich quick schemes are email marketing and network marketing. Let’s tackle them one by one.
Email marketing: In this world of digital age, email is one of the fastest and easiest ways of communication. In my personal experience, I have received a lot of emails from different countries claiming that they have come into a lot of money and need help in investing. Or they can provide opportunities for investment.

If you easily get trapped in this get rich quick scheme, they will start collecting some of your sensitive financial information and when you already detected that it is indeed a scam, then you are left sliced with a big amount of money in your bank account.
Another way used by these scammers are through various fake overseas job opportunities advertisements for those people living in the Third World country like the Philippines. They will get your money in the form of ‘processing fees’.
Network marketing. A lot of network marketing companies I attended promises you to become rich quick. Speakers in the seminars they conduct looked like they earned their huge paychecks without much hard work to entice people to join them. If this is the kind of network marketing you belong to, I think they are one of those get rich quick schemes known as ponzi schemes.
One way not to become a victim of these get rich quick schemes is to stop thinking of getting rich quick! The best way to get rich fast is to get rich slow! You need to think of a long-term period of 20-30-40 years even. That is why the younger you start, the more chances you have to grow your money and become rich.
Just remember, WHEN IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT IS PROBABLY NOT TRUE! Increase your financial intelligence, get educated, and learn to scrutinize each opportunity that comes your way.

I agree with you Tyrone, people who have the money but often lack financial intelligence often fall prey to scams.
A word of caution. I’ve attended sessions with franchising agents (sorry, don’t know what to call them) before, but their real business is MLM. While this is not illegal and MLM isn’t bad at all… Driven by emotions of the figures presented to you (wow, I’ll earn a lot of money), you could get yourself into financial hell. Be sure to plan carefully, and when it comes to franchising… It’s not enough that you have the money for the franchising fee… You also have to determine operational expenses, employee salaries, rent expense and all things related to this for atleast 6 months to 1 year!

MLM business is not a get rich quick schemes. The mechanics of how to make money seems a lot easy because of the system or the leverage principle applied to MLM. But it is sad to say that not all MLM Company is a stable business. When it close people think that it is a scum. often times we’re all victims.

Becoming a millionaire, is having good character serves a very important role in life. I was in six grades when I learned the value of money and the importance of saving it in the bank, I‘ve learned my first investment in college. Never trust or dealing with any online transaction unless 100% sure it is secured or legit. Never let my emotions rule any decisions or transactions in any aspect of life, it could lose focus and eventually wrong choices.

The only way to get rich is to be a harder worker and a more clever businessman than anybody else that is out there. There are a lot of empty promises in the MMO niche, and you highlight a great example in network marketers.

I have not attended sessions or workshops on getting rich fast. However, I have received lots of mails stating different schemes to get rich or be a millionaire headings. I normally don’t believe in this so I usually ignore them. And yes, it’s better to get rich slow so that when a misfortune comes along the way, it will not hit you hard.

Same, here I never attended any sessions because I always out of the country but given the chance I will attend the sessions, it gives new perspective, that is why I am telling many times Mr. Tyrone’s Millionaires Acts helps a lot of people all over the world by giving vital information’s, discipline on how to be what you want to be. It is just a matter of choices and taking the risk. Started saving when I was in grade school; for now real estate investing and renting business woks for me, We can diversify whatever suited for us, it just a matter of focus, taking the risk and knowing what we really want in life. Mr. Tyrone’s you’re the man!

They are too many bad people in this world. Need to be more careful.

To I-million-dollar-blog.com, you are right they are too many bad people in this world and we need to be careful. However, in any deal, If the deal is too big to be true, it’s too big to be legal, then back off. But it doesn’t mean we must stop taking the risk. These are one of the many challenges we will encountered in our everyday life in-order “to reach the unreachable star”. Just a constant focus, strong will power and a positive outlook in life. fb Darwin Dar

There is nothing wrong with people who are talking about money and getting rich, as long as they do it in the right and ethical way. We all know that getting rich the right way will not only increase our financial wealth, but also improve ourselves, so that we can also develop others.
