Tyrone, thank you for the tips. In the Philippines we only have estate taxes. We used to have inheritance tax but it has been deleted from the new NIRC. A suggestion (and a request): I hope you’ll have a more elaborate discussion too on how life insurance can help. A book “Thy Will Be Done” by Atty. Cabrera might provide deeper insights. More power to your site! It’s very helpful and informative.

Some big corporations actually make money from taxes. Big taxpayers actually “float” the money. In simple terms, before the money is paid out in taxes, it gets deposited, earns interest then gets paid to the appropriate collection agency.
