Piso Tales: A Financial Literacy Advocacy of FWD Life

Millennials nowadays are living the YOLO (You Only Live Once) lifestyle.  They often have a Fear of Missing Out or FOMO. They instantly gratify themselves because they feel they are entitled into it since they worked hard for the money they earned. They don’t want to miss out and be left behind that is why they buy the latest gadgets, go for vacations, and eat on expensive restaurants.

These kind of lifestyle is an epitome of being broke if not controlled. Therefore, financial responsibility is a must. Among the companies that is pushing this advocacy is FWD Life Insurance Corporation. In collaboration with the popular writing platform Wattpad, they came up with three books by young Filipino authors that would teach millennials how to succeed financially in life. These books are BTW, It’s Love!, Detour, and My Fangirl Dream which are now part of FWD Life’s Piso Tales campaign.
