Wish List for Year 2009

Happy New Year to all!! This will be my first post for this year. This year 2009 is the Year of the Earth Ox. According to Chinese Feng Shui, the Ox is a symbol of prosperity through hard work. It is a sign of a leader possessing an ability to excel and to achieve great things.

A lot of us have new year’s resolutions, goals and wish list each new year. Each new year means new life and new goals. It is a time to change bad attitudes, time to persevere more, and time to achieve more great things in life.

Below are my wish list for this year 2009:

Network With Fellow Bloggers. I wish to network with fellow bloggers for this year 2009. I’m hoping to see the faces behind those dot com entities.

Earn Passive Income. I wish to earn at least Php 1,000 passive income monthly. I can probably get these from the interests of my savings accounts, cash dividends from my direct stock investments, and a little income from this blog. I’m also hoping to increase my RSS and email readers to 100 as I write original articles on entrepreneurship, investments, personal finance and self-motivation in my pursuit for financial freedom.

Recover Stock Investments. If you were following my blog, you would probably know that I’m losing a lot in my stock investments. As of this writing, my direct stock investments were losing 35% of its original value. I’m really hoping that the bail out plan of the US and all other major central banks around the world infusing tremendous amounts of cash in their economies will really work. Analysts say that we can see some recovery by the fourth quarter of this year.

Be a Peso Millionaire. They said that earning your first million is the hardest and the succeeding millions won’t be that hard anymore as you now possess the right attitude and discipline in managing your finances. This will be my first major ultimate wish when it comes to financial goals. I hope to achieve it this year 2009. This will mean less expenses and more income. I’ve been working hard for the past 4 years already. I’m really hoping to achieve this first major financial evolution this year.

Hello Tyrone, Happy New Year! Great plans and I hope and pray that you’ll achieve and even surpass all of them! As for me, I haven’t posted my 2009 plans in my blog yet but I’ll state here one of my boldest goals for 2009, to have at least Php90,000K in passive income. That’s 150% of my family’s average monthly expenses. I have a long way to go but as they say, aim for the stars so even if you land on the moon, its not so bad right?

i really hope you can cross out your wish list this 2009, we are on the same path of financial freedom so it would be worth knowing each other and give support…
