On Tuesday, August 31, 2010, around 9:30 PM, there was an incident at sm department store – Southmall, which cause death of my niece LANTIE PARUNGAO SARMIENTO.
According to the report brought to us, nahimatay ang aking pamangkin sa loob ng vicinity ng SM Department Store. She work there as Cashier. Dinala daw sya sa clinic ng SM subalit, hindi gumagana ang mga apparatus for first aid activity particularly yung oxygen and the nurse on duty was not around. Kaya napagkasunduan daw ng officers on duty ng SM Southmall na dalhin sa pinakamalapit na ospital.
Tanong:
1. Ano ba ang sistema nyo sa pag accomodate kung ang empleyado nyo ay mawalan ng malay o mahimatay sa loob ng inyong tindahan while at work?
2. Wala ba kayong maayos na facility for first aid para kami na pamilya ng inyong mga empleyado ay kampante man lamang sana.
3. Wala po ba kayong private vehicle na if ever may mga emergency cases gaya ng nangyari sa aking pamangkin, ay madala sana sya ng mas mabilis at maayos na sasakyan, hindi gaya ng ginawa nyo na sa taxi nyo sinakay para maisugod sa ospital?
4. From the moment na nahimatay ang pamangkin ko, ilang oras ang na consume nyo sa pagbantay at pagtawag ng taxi para maisugod agad sana sya sa ospital.
Isinugod ang pamangkin ko sa ospital, around 9:30PM, na coma, at namatay ng 3:15AM.
Bilang kapamilya ng namatay, napakasakit sa amin ang nangyari sa pamangkin namin, may dalawa syang anak na naiwan (ages 3 girl & 11 months boy). Kung maayos sana ang mga facilities at sistema nyo, baka sana buhay pa ang pamangkin ko.
Aantayin ko ang sagot nyo sa email ko na ito. Kailangan ko malaman ang side nyo kung bakit nangyari ang lahat ng ito sa pamangkin ko. Kami ay sobrang dismayado sa nangyari. Masakit
ang mawalan ng mahal sa buhay dahil lamang sa kapabayaan ng kumpanyang gaya ng SM.
Sanay inyong tugunan ang mga tanong ko na ito.
