If you haven’t seen the movie “The Secret”, I would recommend not to let it pass. It’s a movie that reveals the most powerful law in the universe and that is the LAW OF ATTRACTION.
This Law was expressed by Napoleon Hill when he said, “We become what we think about.” This truth has been stated in many different languages and cultures throughout science and history.
In Science, we have Newton’s Universal Gravitation where he compared the acceleration of the moon to the acceleration of objects on Earth and was able to draw a conclusion that every object in the universe was attracted by every other object. Einstein have this famous formula e=mc2 on quantum physics and concluded that energy waves are attracted to energy waves of the same frequency and that all the celestial bodies in the universe like the sun, moon, and planets would never have been formed if it weren’t for the power of attraction.
In our day-to-day lives, we can hear the saying “birds of the same feather flock together”. When we think about attraction, we often think about the person who makes us feel great and who brings out the best in us. We think about being attractive. Attraction is a very powerful energy and is often associated with individual people who we wish to imitate or “become”.
Our thoughts and attitudes attracts positive energy and it empowers us to become more successful in our endeavors and to attract the right people to help us reach these goals. It attracts us to take action towards these goals. It can be simply stated that “you are what you think”.
However, thinking positively alone won’t help us if we won’t act. We must ACT in order to realize these positive thoughts. As Paulo Coelho said in his book The Alchemist, “when you want something, all the universe conspire in helping you to achieve it.” The whole universe will join forces to help you achieve your goals by giving you possible opportunities. It is now up to you on how you would act in order to achieve your goals. Your positive thoughts will just be there to attract positive energies that will provide you with a lot of opportunities. In contrast, negative thoughts will attract negative energies and thus negative happenings.
There is this famous saying that says:
Watch your thoughts, for they become words.
Watch your words, for they become actions.
Watch your actions, for they become habits.
Watch your habits, for they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
And lastly, I would like to end a quote from the famous Mahatma Gandhi of India that says: “Men often become what they believe themselves. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn’t have it in the beginning.”
